Our History
Chelan Concrete was established in 1967 and has since become a full-service Ready Mixed Concrete Manufacturer. We specialize in high strength, high technology mix designs, yet, no project is too small for our batching facilities and state of the art delivery fleet of Ready Mix Trucks and Dump Trucks. Chelan Concrete is family owned and operated. We have just recently introduced the third generation to the challenges and joys of the Ready Mix Concrete business. Our business was pre-dated by its sister company, Godbey Red-E-Mix Concrete of Brewster, WA. It was founded in the late 1940s, and under the direction of founders Vaughn and Wanda Godbey, established itself as a premier Ready Mixed Concrete producer in the early days of hydro-electric development. Their reach spanned the entire Columbia River system and continued with early infrastructure systems into Eastern Washington, Idaho, and into Montana. It is with great pride and satisfaction that we look forward to future generations carrying on the traditions forged by its founders through hard work, adversity, and determination.
